Competition rules and fair play

  1. Collaborate within your registered team. Sharing flags, private challenge files, credentials, or solutions with other teams during the competition is prohibited.
  2. Use only the challenge resources assigned to your team. Do not attack the platform, management services, or another team's resources.
  3. Each team receives different flags and may receive personalized challenge content. A flag issued to another team is rejected.
  4. Three distinct foreign-flag submissions within ten minutes pause team submissions for ten minutes. Duplicate submissions of the same flag count once. Organizers can release a restriction after review.
  5. Organizers review evidence before applying disciplinary penalties or publishing a violation. Timing correlations and shared networks alone do not establish cheating.

Monitoring notice

The platform records challenge access, file deliveries, hint unlocks, flag-submission outcomes, instance activity, gateway connections, selected challenge milestones, and organizer decisions. It does not capture your screen, keystrokes, or full network traffic. Raw flags and credentials are excluded from monitoring reports.

Monitoring and public records are retained for 30 days after competition end. Private decision audit and encrypted assignment data are included in protected backups.

Review and appeals

Contact an organizer to request review of an automatic restriction. For a published decision, sign in with your team account and use the appeal form on the Fair Play Record. An appealed entry is marked “Under appeal”; overturned entries are unpublished.
